Unlocking policies with the various networks differ greatly. If you bought an iPhone 2nd hand or were gifted an iPhone, if you are not the original contract holder or if a contract period remains (to name but a few) it's likely you will not meet the requirements to unlock directly via Rogers. This is when an Official Factory Apple Unlock Service is required.

An Official Apple Unlock removes ALL network restrictions imposed by Rogers both in and around the world. This allows your iPhone 6 to be used with ANY network and unlocked from anywhere in the world. Unless stated, as long as your iPhone 6 has not been reported 'lost or stolen', any iPhone 6 can be unlocked, regardless of contractual period (unless stated) etc. Once unlocked you are able to swap and change network Sim cards at your will. Your will be unlocked to use any sim card and no longer limited to just Rogers in .

To unlock your iPhone 6 with an Official Permanent iPhone Unlock all we require is the IMEI of the phone and a contact email address to receive all correspondence and ultimately, the 'Unlock Confirmation'.

An IMEI number is a unique 15 digit number that identifies your handset and its lock to the Rogers network. The process updates your IMEI on the Apple GSX database and it is marked as 'Unlocked/Whitelisted/Sim Free'. This is the only permanent unlock, recognised by Apple.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were announced on September 9, 2014, and released on September 19, 2014. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus include larger 4.7 and 5.5 inches (120 and 140 mm) displays, a faster processor, upgraded cameras, improved LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus received positive reviews, with critics regarding their improved design, specifications, camera, and battery life as being improvements over previous iPhone models.

Pre-orders of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded four million within its first 24 hours of availability—an Apple record. More than ten million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices were sold in the first three days, another Apple record. Despite their positive reception, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have been the subject of several hardware issues, including most prominently, being susceptible to bending under pressure and as a byproduct of this lack of rigidity, the touchscreen's internal hardware being susceptible to losing its connection to the phone's logic board. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were moved to the midrange spot in Apple's iPhone lineup when the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were released in September 2015. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were discontinued on September 7, 2016 when Apple announced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Their spot as the entry-level iPhone was replaced by the iPhone SE, which was released earlier on March 31, 2016.

Had a little problem with the phone recognising the unlock but emailed customer service and they soon determined it was because I had restored my phone to factory settings and not activated it before trying to unlock it. On their advice I solved my problem and now my phone is unlocked. The only reason for a 4 star and not a 5 was that LiveChat is only available 104 GMT and I am now in Australia. Already recommended to other travellers I have come across wishing to do the same and will continue to recommend you. Brilliant service, thank you.

I do highly recommend this service, it's awesome. My only reason for a 4 star reviews was I was quoted 24 hours for unlock and after 24 hours I was worried I had been a victim of a scam. The unlock was completed in under 48hrs however!

As as service it is First Class, simply provide them with your IMEI and they do the rest. Email gets sent when the unlock is done, swap sim cards and that's it!! Couldn't be easier.

I took my iPhone 6 to Australia with me and only realised whilst I was there that I couldn't use another sim card in it Orange were less than helpful and would not unlock my phone for me so after searching the internet for a solution I found these guys and without any problems my phone was unlocked in just a couple of days.

Took a little longer than expected but most importantly the unlock worked.

I found cheaper unlocks but not on sites that instilled any confidence in me. I spoke to LiveChat to eliminate any doubts I had and made my order on Monday lunchtime. The service was quoted at 13 working days but I had my unlock confirmation the very next day. Clear and simple instructions to complete the unlock. My phone is an iPhone 4s which WAS locked to O2... not any more!
