Unlocking policies with the various networks differ greatly. If you bought an iPhone 2nd hand or were gifted an iPhone, if you are not the original contract holder or if a contract period remains (to name but a few) it's likely you will not meet the requirements to unlock directly via EE. This is when an Official Factory Apple Unlock Service is required.

An Official Apple Unlock removes ALL network restrictions imposed by EE both in and around the world. This allows your iPhone 6 to be used with ANY network and unlocked from anywhere in the world. Unless stated, as long as your iPhone 6 has not been reported 'lost or stolen', any iPhone 6 can be unlocked, regardless of contractual period (unless stated) etc. Once unlocked you are able to swap and change network Sim cards at your will. Your will be unlocked to use any sim card and no longer limited to just EE in .

To unlock your iPhone 6 with an Official Permanent iPhone Unlock all we require is the IMEI of the phone and a contact email address to receive all correspondence and ultimately, the 'Unlock Confirmation'.

An IMEI number is a unique 15 digit number that identifies your handset and its lock to the EE network. The process updates your IMEI on the Apple GSX database and it is marked as 'Unlocked/Whitelisted/Sim Free'. This is the only permanent unlock, recognised by Apple.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were announced on September 9, 2014, and released on September 19, 2014. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus include larger 4.7 and 5.5 inches (120 and 140 mm) displays, a faster processor, upgraded cameras, improved LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus received positive reviews, with critics regarding their improved design, specifications, camera, and battery life as being improvements over previous iPhone models.

Pre-orders of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded four million within its first 24 hours of availability—an Apple record. More than ten million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices were sold in the first three days, another Apple record. Despite their positive reception, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have been the subject of several hardware issues, including most prominently, being susceptible to bending under pressure and as a byproduct of this lack of rigidity, the touchscreen's internal hardware being susceptible to losing its connection to the phone's logic board. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were moved to the midrange spot in Apple's iPhone lineup when the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were released in September 2015. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were discontinued on September 7, 2016 when Apple announced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Their spot as the entry-level iPhone was replaced by the iPhone SE, which was released earlier on March 31, 2016.

Was in a real rush to unlock my phone before my holiday. As always I left everything until the last minute and unfortunately my first experience with an online unlock site proved a costly mistake. I spent $19 on an unlock that was supposedly guaranteed to unlock all iPhones in minutes, of course it didn't work. As with a lot of things, I found out too late about the various scams out there and had already wasted time and money. I spoke to LiveChat and he explained that any company that claims an instant unlock for all iPhones is clearly a scam. I hesitantly ordered my unlock and within 2 days.. just in time for my travels, my phone unlock completed. Absolutely fantastic, thank you very much!

My EE iPhone that is still in contract was unlocked in just 3 days when EE would not even enterain it. Bit expensive but less than I'd found elsewhere and the price was justified when it was explained to me that the handset is heavily subsidised when purchased on a contract.

I didn't want to simply change networks, I'm more than happy with my current EE network but they told me that I could not unlock my iPhone within 6 months! I just wanted to use my phone with my Italian network when I spend time at my holiday home abroad.I was a little concerned because if my network wouldn't help me, I wondered how this site could? I need not have worried, within a very short time I received the unlock confirmation and my phone was unlocked. I now swap between sims when I travel and they did what my network said they wouldnt. Many Many Thanks

The unlock completed in a timely fashion but I struggled to get the phone to recognise my new sim. After a few prompt exchanges with customers services and LiveChat it was determined that the new sim I was inserting into the phone had not been activated. I simply borrowed a sim from my colleague and the unlock was recognised straight away. Great company and very professional service

As as service it is First Class, simply provide them with your IMEI and they do the rest. Email gets sent when the unlock is done, swap sim cards and that's it!! Couldn't be easier.
